Needs concentrate. Make a batch first: Cold Brew Concentrate Recipe: Simple 1:4 Ratio

Ingredients (one drink)

  • 100 mL3.4 fl ozCold brew concentratefrom the concentrate recipe
  • 100 mL3.4 fl ozCold water
  • 4Ice cubes
  • 2Scoops vanilla ice cream

US units are rounded. Weigh coffee and water if you can: a scale is how these ratios stay the same from batch to batch.

Steps

  1. Put the ice in a tall glass. Add 100 mL of cold water, then 100 mL of concentrate, and stir.
  2. Add the ice cream, one scoop at a time.
  3. Serve with a long spoon and drink it before the ice cream melts away.

The ice cream melts into the drink, so the concentrate is diluted 1:1 rather than 1:2. Add water if you want it milder.

Swap the vanilla for any ice cream you like; the coffee side stays the same.
